The RUGGEDCOM RS416 is a utility-grade serial device serverwith an integrated, fully managed Ethernet switch. It features a modular designthat can support IEEE 1588 and IRIG-B time synchronization, up to 16 serialports, and up to 4 Ethernet ports. As such, it can be used to interconnect andsynchronize multiple types of intelligent electronic devices (IEDs).TheRUGGEDCOM RS416P is a utility-grade, serial device server with integrated,fully managed, 4-port Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) switch. With its modulardesign, it can support up to 16 serial ports and interconnect multiple types ofintelligent electronic devices (IEDs) with varying methods of communication.
