Product Description

SIEMENS SIPROTEC 7UT82 Transformer differential protection relay

The transformer differential protection SIPROTEC 7UT82 is auniversal protection, control, and automation device on the basis of theSIPROTEC 5 system. It is specially designed for the protection two windingtransformers. It is the main protection for the transformer and contains manyother protection and monitoring functions. The additional protection functionscan also be used as backup protection for protected downstream objects (e.g.cables, line). The device supports all SIPROTEC 5 system characteristics. Itenables future-oriented system solutions with high investment security and lowoperating costs. Main function:1 Differential protection (standard- orautotransformer) with add-on stabilizations; Up to 2 differential ground-faultprotection Useful measuring point:2 three-pole current measuring points 2one-pole current measuring points Inputs and outputs:-1 predefined standardvariant with 8 current transformers, 7 binary inputs, 7 binary outputs Hardwareflexibility: The 1/3 base module is available with IO103, it is not possible toadd 1/6 expansion modules, available with the large and small display. Width ofhousing:1/319''

All functions can be configured freely with DIGSI 5. For theapplication of some of the functions, you require the appropriate number offree function points within the device. The function point calculator in theonline configurator provides support in determining the required number offunction points for your device.
