Relay Coordination Study
Studies will be carried out which demonstrate co-ordination and discrimination of protective devices in such a manner that a fault appearing at a given point in the system is cleared by the protective device immediately upstream of the fault and by that device alone. Circuit Breakers upstream of the operated protective device will not be tripped.
Maximum and minimum symmetrical short circuit currents at each busbar and feeder line will be used in establishing settings for protective relays and devices.
