SIPROTEC 6MD85

The SIPROTEC 5 Bay Controller is a control and automationdevice with optional protection function. It is designed for use in all voltagelevels from distribution to transmission. As a full member of the SIPROTEC 5family, it allows the use of a large number of protection functions from theSIPROTEC library with identical parameters like in the protection devices. Themodular hardware enables the user to integrate as many IO's as needed. Mainfunction: Bay Controller for medium and high voltage switchgear. Integratedoperator panel and key switches (optional). Powerful  automation functionality, easily configurablewith DIGSI. A large number of protection functions available. Inputs andoutputs:-5 predefined standard variants with 4/4-current/voltagetransformers,-11 to 75 binary inputs,-9 to 41 binary outputs Hardwareflexibility: Flexible adjustable HW IO-quantity within the scope of theSIPROTEC5 modular system. The use of a second row allows more than 400 in- andoutputs .Width of housing:1/3 x 19 Inch - 2/1 x 19 Inch

All functions can be configured freely with DIGSI 5. For theapplication of some of the functions, you require the appropriate number offree function points within the device. The function point calculator in theonline configurator provides support in determining the required number offunction points for your device.
